Data for solar system - FOR 1.st day of current month at 00:00:00.0000 CT - origin is SUN center (courtesy of JPL HORIZONS)

This project is kind of playground if you want to add some object or objects to solar system (real or some object you design))

NOTE !

  • do not change default gravitational constant (for this project only) - all masses defined are in relation with default G (calculated from GM constants)
  • save downloaded project in the folder where SOLAR SYSTEM textures are located
  • planet satellites are not included in project (except Moon)

An interesting example showing Juno (spaceship) trajectory. If you set the STOP time to 431 days you will see the situation at 05.07.2016, the day it approaches Jupiter. If you run the calculation further it can be seen that, without additional maneuvering (impulse applied), the spaceship will exit solar system (eventually).

Jupiter satellites are not included in calculation..
